JB Pharmatron offers a range of tablet hardness testing solutions starting with the 8M-Basic unit, measuring tablet hardness only, through to the fully automatic weight, thickness, diameter and hardness testing systems AT4 and 10X.
Testing for tablet weight, thickness, diameter and hardness, (option of content uniformity on the 10X), for production (IPC), Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) is the primary function of Pharmatron tablet testers.
We supply manual tablet hardness testers 8M-Basic and 8M which is commonly used next to the tablet press for fast and accurate confirmation that the compression force is within tolerance. We also have many installations in the QC/QA labs for final batch analysis prior to release.
Semi-automatic tablet tester HS8 is utilized by pharmaceutical companies that have a medium to high throughput of tablets to be tested. The operator can load samples onto the carousel plate and, after pressing run, the HS8 will automatically test weight, thickness, diameter and hardness. It's the perfect unit for busy QC/QA labs and production environments where operators should be looking after the tablet press rather then manually testing tablets.
The fully automatic AT4 and 10X units have been increasingly popular for bulk production. With the option to take samples directly from the tablet press with no operator intervention the AT4 and 10X have been a wise investment for pharmaceutical companies that have a large throughput of tablets. We also have many AT4 units in the QC/QA labs due to it's time saving abilities and extended reporting features such as batch analysis, graphical trending reports and historical archiving for auditors.
Our range of tablet testers is available for demonstration so you can evaluate the build quality, time savings and reporting benefits.
